Tele-iAudiometer™ is the FIRST Tele-Audiology solution on mobile devices. This is the worlds first Tele Digital Audiometer on mobile devices that includes video communications, a full range of audiological tests, and built-in analytics.

Tele-iAudiometer™ comprises two software: one on the Clinician Site, acting a remote controller, and one on the Patient Site, acting as audiometer. The latter uses the same engine of iAudiometer™, the FIRST iPad based diagnostic audiometer, and so it can be calibrated to ANSI Standards (ANSI S3.6) and ISO-EN Standards (EN60645): this makes Tele-iAudiometer™ a full diagnostic tele-audiology system.

CHARACTERISTICS
• A full range of audiological tests included;
• The connection is directly established (point-to-point): so the communication and information shared are available only to the end points, preventing the possibility of compromising sensitive data, since there is no intermediate place in which the information are stored
• Any shared information is encrypted with an AES 256 bit encryption algorithm. This is the same encryption level used by NSA
• Data provided to third-party servers also supports any encryption level and any communication standards
• Tele-iAudiometer™ is HIPAA compliant
• At the Patient’s Site, the software supports 8 standard transducers to meet both ANSI 3.6’2010 and ISO EN Standards
• The Tele-iAudiometer™ Clinician can archive results, send results to a third-party data server, generate and share PDF Reports with header facility and digital signatures
• Tele-iAudiometer™ is translated in several languages and many are in deploying
• Tele-iAudiometer™ supports broadband connections, cellular connections and satellite connections
• The minimum bandwidth needed to guarantee a high quality video and audio call is 0.5Mbps. But, Tele-iAudiometer™ system can work also with 5-8 Kbps to provide a “clear” and “good quality” audio-call between devices, and 40-50 Kbps for provide a good video-communication between devices. The communication system scales the video quality depending on the connection bandwidth available second by second: no interruption of service.
